This is what happens.
Apple has done heavy changes on iTunes to accommodate the iPad. Because of this iEnvy or any 3rd Party Player is not longer working after the update.
CHANGES:
1. Folder structure has change. There have remove some folders and create new ones.
2. Files changes and location. There have add new files and take all the content of the Bin folder to the root.
3. iTunesMobileDevices.dll is about 208KB smaller so I suspect there have move some of the code to other files and location.
PROBLEM:
By moving the files from the Bin folder to the root iEnvy or any 3rd Party Player break as there expecting to find the iTunesMobileDevices.dll there. However if it would be there it still will break as the files is now smaller and missing code that is move out of it.
FIX:
1. Create a folder in (32bit system) "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\" or (64bit system) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\" and named "bin" (with out the quotes).
2. Do a search on Google for "iTunesMobileDevice.dll" and make sure it is not version "319.14.0.2", Preferable would be you get 238.9.0.1 this is the one from iTunes 9.0.
3. Place the file into the bin folder.
You will have now a working iEnvy or any 3rd Party Player beside the new iTunes 9.1
Hopefully we can get this quick sorted out and get back to normal.
