Well, my subscription ends in half an hour. It's been good, but I haven't used the extras (this blog included) enough to justify renewing it. Thank you once again to the staff for picking me as one of the Tier 2 Subscription winners this time last year. :)

I don't know if it's just me, but this year's summer sale on Steam was rather underwhelming. Maybe I've been spoilt by the two major sales last year (in other words, I bought a f**kload of games during those sales).

Ahh, Steam Sales. They're so unbelievably good, that they tempt even the most frugal of gamers into opening up their clamped wallets. For I, and a few million others, the now-gone Steam Holiday Sale 2011 was yet another case...

On yesterday's Steam sales, PAYDAY The Heist was half price. Unfortunately, I missed it...




So this is an appeal to anyone who bought the four-pack yesterday. If you've still got a spare copy available, I'll be happy to buy it off you, and I'll even round up to £6. :)

So yesterday was Black Friday over in America. Thankfully, a few stores tried to bring it here to the UK. :) Unfortunately, the offers were mostly underwhelming. :/ Although I did pick up one deal yesterday; I got WWE '12 for £26.97 from Amazon's lightning deal, and that only came out yesterday. :)

Thanks to yet another great Steam deal a couple of weeks ago (it never ends!), I bought DiRT 3 and F1 2011 together for the great-ish price of £20. :) I started playing F1 2011 a couple of days ago, and my initial overview of the game has to be: mayday, mayday, I can't control it!!!

Last year, I went to just four gigs, which is still three more than I went to the year before that (bear in mind the lone gig in '09 was my first ever one). Two of them were epic as hell, and another, I was on the guestlist for thanks to doing a little bit of street team work for the band. :) And thankfully, this year won't be an empty...

I went down with my parents to the Carphone Warehouse yesterday to help them look at which phones they could upgrade to, as they've been eligible to upgrade for a fortnight now (October 14th, to be precise; the same day the iPhone 4S was released here).
