Windows 10 Upgrade: Big Download File Size

I decided to force upgrade my laptop to Windows 10 using the Command Prompt trick. And I have a download file size of about 8GB. Is this normal?  Any help appreciated

Mine certainly wasn't that size.

My Surface Pro 3 downloaded around 3.8GB, but my desktop download was just over 8GB.

So something interesting here, I have consumed about 500mb data which was a 20% progress, so it looks like the file size is actually about 2.5gigs. Strange. I had installed all other updates before this, so its the only thing getting downloaded. weird.

Well the file was actually 2.75Gb, just a bug I guess.

It certainly shouldn't be bigger than the multiversion ISO available via Microsoft TechBench (3,988,138 KB according to File Explorer for the English x64 ISO); if anything, it should be smaller, being an ESD.

mine was like 2.7 GB
