patseguin Global Moderator Posted September 28, 2015 Global Moderator Share Posted September 28, 2015 What browser are you guys finding yourselves using the most with Windows 10? I always preferred to use as many native OS apps as possible and was using Edge exclusively when it became stable. However, I've found Firefox to be faster and more stable. Edge still seems to be a bit slow on some sites and Firefox just seems to get things done faster and it just feels better for some reason. I was a big Chrome user a while back but it seems to me to have gotten bloated.
Quillz
I've been using Edge on Win10 just to see how far I can get with it before I start missing extensions. So far, other than ads, I've found there aren't any extensions I can't be without. thomastmc 1 Share
Aergan
Still using Firefox as I can get it to sync multi-os including my handset. Occasionally I use Edge to open something I want in a completely different process e.g. remote gateway / Citrix.

Roberticus
Opera version 32. I like the look and feel of the browser, and the speed is good too. The Speed Dial makes me want to stay in Opera land.
+virtorio MVC Posted September 28, 2015 MVC Share Posted September 28, 2015 Chrome. It syncs everything between my PC, Phone and Mac, I like the built-in developer tools, and in terms of performance (I know it's not the fastest in benchmarks) I can't tell the difference between it, Firefox or Edge. LimeMaster
Firefox (Nightly 64bit). Also, I wasn't aware that Safari for Windows was still a thing.

I couldn't use Edge if the ads were slipping through though. Too much of a security risk.

Stoffel
I've always just used IE. In Windows 8.x i used the Metro version of IE and found that a wonderful experience. When I installed Win 10 i thought i'd just stick to Edge, but it was just not stable enough for me, so I went back to IE. That turned into a massive memory hog on my PC. So now i'm for the first time running FireFox. I'm liking it so far! But i still miss the full screen Modern IE
+virtorio MVC Posted September 28, 2015 MVC Share Posted September 28, 2015 Also, I wasn't aware that Safari for Windows was still a thing. It's not. It hasn't been updated since 2013 (maybe 2012). Either way, it's dead. LimeMaster 1 Share
Mockingbird
I use Edge. Chrome is a resource hog. Firefox is completely unusable since it doesn't invoke the keyboard and I can't type in anything. I want to like Firefox, but I can't even use it! thomastmc 1 Share
hackson
Opera here and I use it mainly because it runs really well when you have only 3 extensions installed (mine are pocket, ad-block and flash downloader). Also, my other favorite feature is that it has fancy device emulator manager.

Nic333
I just use Opera mainly because it's like Chrome but with better memory management. I've been using Edge on my Notebook and well...I need a proper adblocker for that.I don't want to see porn ads everytime i want to download any kind of file from some random file hoster. hackson 1 Share

I don't know what MS need to do with it but they need to change direction.

purrcher
Firefox / Waterfox are my defaults across a lot of machines and platforms... Chrome (64 bit normally) for gmail and other google related activities (mostly). Internet Explorer is enabled on some of my families computers so they can use it if they like. LUTZIFER
I'm using Edge. I think IE is way better, but I figured I might as well get used to it. I hated Edge at first, cuz it doesn't block all ads like IE does, but I subscribed to AdGuard, so it's not too bad now.
