The Dell Ultrasharp monitor I purchased almost 11 years ago is still going strong. I still remember the day I was in awe of the breathtaking photos  @sphere took and displayed in his 2005  Neowin review. I remember photos of little Little Nemo playing on it. All the images are now dead but you can find the review link below. It's crazy because that was a 24 inch LCD in 2005. 2 things about that.

 

1) Back then there were a lot of CRTs around still

2) Even today, 11 years later, I hardly ever see 24 inch desktop monitors. All in ones yes, but not desktop. Mostly 20 and 22 inches.

 

As you can tell by the bottom photo, that the monitor is starting to show some spots, and it's also filthy! I should probably clean it huh? it's also delayed a little bit when turning on. But all in all its still working like a champ. Thought I would share that road down memory lane.

This is a 1920×1200 pixel display, correct?  While I don't have a strong preference for 16:9 vs. 16:10 aspect ratios per se, I really do like having a minimum of 1200 pixels on the vertical axis.  1080 just doesn't cut it when you're trying to display a lot of information on screen.

Yep it's 1920 by 1200
