Can anyone identify this adapter

Recommended Posts

Hi all. My grandfather just found a wall adapter and asked me if I know where it was from. I haven't got a clue so thought I would ask here. It looks like it's some sort of proprietary adapter utilising an SATA adapter.

Anyone got any ideas?

Quick google search says it's adpater model# was registered in 2013 so fairly recent.  Could be printer, video cameras, any number of things I guess.

Definitely not, they look nothing like that.

the model number suggests it's for a wireless device. further digging suggests it's for a mobile/cell phone.

but the L shape where the pins are connected, it might be for an external HDD? it looks a lot like a Sata cable connector.

Edit_

odd, some of the numbers if searched, come back as LED lighting adapters.
