AirAsia boards Windows 10 with a universal app for PC and Mobile

AirAsia has launched a universal app for Windows 10. The app is currently available for PC and Mobile, and comes with many features to make managing your flights on your Windows 10 devices much easier:

  • Search for flights
  • Book new flights
  • Check in
  • Check flight status
  • View boarding passes (including QR code)
  • Support for AirAsiaBIG Membership accounts
  • Cortana integration

AirAsia is a large, low-cost airline in Malaysia as well as Southeast Asia, offering international flights to 22 countries.

In our testing of the app, we noticed that there are a few crashes every now and then, particularly on the splash screen; if you restart the app, it should work fine for you, although it appears to load slowly on mobile at times. Over on WishAppList, 7 users voted for the app to come to Windows 10, following its Windows 8 variant which lacks almost every feature of this new universal variant.

If you'd like to grab the app, you can head to the Store here to download it. As the app has just launched, it may not appear in Store search results just yet.
