Guest
Tp-Link TL-WR840N / TL-WR840ND V2 is blocking local network requests but only on one machine. So it's a weird one. I can ping any other machine. But other machines cannot ping me. I can ping my machine from the router; so it's not blocked. When I renew my DHCP it works but only allows to ping once. When I login to the router there's no logs of it being blocked.\ Things I have tried: Disabling all firewalls. Resetting hosts file. Setting DMZ to unpingable device Setting virtual server to unpingable device. Port forwarding to unpingable device. Nothing works. Some screenshots Pinging from the router. Pinging from Android device. (I have tried 3 difference devices) Pinging to the Android device (Works for other devices too) I'm out of fuzz now; not sure what I should do? +BudMan MVC Posted June 30, 2016 MVC Share Posted June 30, 2016 so your device is wired or wireless? Common security setting for wifi be it guest is isolation from the wired network, so wifi can not talk to wired. But wired would be able to talk to wifi. There is also common setting to isolate all wifi devices from each other, but since you say you can ping your other devices this seems unlikely.. Also your wifi is not on another segment is it? So your computer is 192.168.1 is your wifi on say 192.168.2 ?
