Microsoft ships one millionth Xbox Elite Wireless Controller in just over six months

At last year's E3, Microsoft announced the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller for the Xbox One, which eventually became available in October. The controller managed to impress at first sight and was highly recommended by gamers. Now, it seems Microsoft has sold its millionth unit of the controller, as Xbox Chief, Phil Schiller, has tweeted an image of the milestone.

Microsoft recently launched a Gears of War 4 version of the Elite Controller along side the Xbox One S, which has an updated stock controller. It would be interesting to see whether the company has any plans for a revamped version of the Elite Controller in the near future.
