How to backup recently Upgraded Windows10 on a USB key?

Hello Members!

 

With tomorrow being the last date to acquire the "Free Upgrade" to Windows 10, is there a way for the recent migrants to also backup Win 10 OS on a USB key?

In case of eventuality do we need to revert to Factory-default OS at first & probably then scour the relevant options to again migrate to Win 10?

 

I have heard that OS backup on a USB-Key is a one-time privilege! Therefore, those who have recently migrated to Win 10 &  already have (for say) Win 8 backup on a USB-Key, will still be able to backup Win10 on a USB or not?

 

Lastly, any Idea over the tentative pricing for a post-29th July Upgrade?

Are you talking about a backup for reinstalling Windows 10 from scratch? You can make as many install USBs as you want with the Media Creation Tool.

 

From what I understand Windows 10 Home will be $119.

I have now discovered that the "Media Creation Tool" is indeed an official solution offered by Microsoft.
