Help me get through this Printer Driver error.

Hello Members!

 

The installation of my HP Deskjet F2235 on Win 10 is encountering the enclosed error repeatedly! System has been restarted several times to no avail.

 

Please help me get past this trouble, & your help will be sincerely appreciated.

Are you using Windows Update? Don't. Use drivers directly from HP...

Hello Mindovermaster!

 

I tried installing Drivers from Official HP CD, & it posted Dot4USB error message.

 

Windows 10 Update feature isn't able to find anything relevant in this regard!

 

Therefore, Please suggest further...

Was gunna say that. I doubt your CD has any Win 10 drivers.

It has been my experience with HP printers that when a new Windows version is released your printer becomes not  compatible. One reason I do not use printers.

Have you tried installing these drivers?

Personally ... I would

a) download the above driver

b) before installing the driver I would look to see if the printer is "installed" (Settings > Devices) and remove it if it is listed

c) then install the above driver

Error Messages have disappeared altogether after installing the Latest Printer drivers as have been quoted above in preceding posts!

 

& Yes!...I have also been able to successfully evade all Junk installations of HP by customizing the Installer window!
