PUC_Snakeman Posted August 25, 2013 Share Posted August 25, 2013 They did change the yes/no setting -- Windows 8 asks "automatically download?" but Windows 8.1 now asks "automatically install?" I guess the next logical thing to ask is this: If you disable the "automatic installation", does Windows still show you when app updates are available? And the answer is yes.
