Elliot B.
EDIT: Disabling ULPS in the registry fixed it :) I have just bought a second 7870 XT to stick in my Maximus V Extreme, along with my quality 750W PSU and 3570K. I run @ 1680x1050 and on a 64-player server with all settings maxed out in BF4, I still get very occasional 40fps dips, which I'm disappointed about. Are such occurrences to be expected? This is what GPU-Z is showing about my two cards:

Order_66
Are you using the mantle driver in bf4?

Order_66
I was just going to recommend disabling ULPS but it looks like you beat me to it
Boo Berry
At first glance (don't have much time right now) it looks like the first card is running at 8X while the other is running at 1X. Is that correct? Might wanna double check your motherboard's manual in regards to which PCI-E slots to use when using CrossFire.
Jason S. Global Moderator Posted April 9, 2014 Global Moderator Share Posted April 9, 2014 dont know why the 2nd card would be running at x1... also, what's ULPS? (edit) here you go, disable it --> http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=361702
Boo Berry
Also look at the amount of shaders available on each card - the second has more than the first. Incompatible cards, perhaps?
+PeterUK MVC Posted April 9, 2014 MVC Share Posted April 9, 2014 Have you installed the cards in your Maximus V Extreme for the first red slot and black slot.
Elliot B.
Also look at the amount of shaders available on each card - the second has more than the first. Incompatible cards, perhaps? It's because ULPS was enabled. All fixed.
Martog
Also look at the amount of shaders available on each card - the second has more than the first. Incompatible cards, perhaps? I believe Radeon cards can be mixed in CFX to an extent.
