XBOX One Controller PC Driver doesn't work 10049

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, first post here so i hope i don't break any rule... but has any of you guys noticed that for the first time the xbox one controller driver does not work for the first time in W10? It's kinda strange and annoying but if anyone has a fix for it or thoughts on the matter, it would be appreciated.

Have you tried installing the Windows 7/8.1 drivers?

Well, there is only two drivers for the xbox one controller... x86 and x64, i suppose for any windows version, i have tried both and there

This happened to me too. The solution is to install the previous drivers.

Locate the Xbox controller on the device manager.

Right-click on it and choose update driver. Then choose browse computer and then 'let me pick from a list'.

There choose the one that has a 6.2 version number.
