Dane
So I am wondering, with windows 8/ 8.1 user accounts. If I sign in with my @outlook.com. Is there a way to change the password to a more simple password instead of using the same long password I use for my email? I don't use that account on my main 8.1 desktop because of that feature. I am using my @outlook on my pc with Windows 10, and it sucks entering that long password each time. So is there a way to change it, without changing the actual @outlook password? -Himanshu-
You could use PIN as an alternative login method.
winrez
In settings you can assign a 4 digit pin to log into for the device, this keeps your original password online and other devices.
