Annual report about work done:)

My last post was on June 12. one year ago. I presented proudly our SE-DesktopApps.
And now, almost one year later I can say that we kept busy and today's SE-DesktopApps is the result of our yearly work.
In last post I wrote about two component in the program, now application includes 6 components - to the clock gadget and wallpaper changer 4 new desktop gadgets were added. And now I can call our SE-DesktopApps realy useful tool for desktop enhancement. Let me note that we are not satisfied with what has already been achieved - we plan to expand the functionality and enhance current features.
I'd like to dwell the new gadgets. We used our knowledges and created 2 gadgets based on our previous successeful products - SE-TrayMenu and SE-MediaPlayer. That's Desktop Player Gadget and Desktop Launcher.
Desktop Launcher lets to create more that one quick launch panel for various desktop items. It can be files, applications, folders or .lnk files. As a whole the gadget can be excellent tool for desktop organization. All items on the desktop can be organized into quick panels and can be hidden in one click so you get virgin clear desktop at a flash. Additionaly hotkeys can be added to any desktop element. For most exacting users we can offer the ability to launch files with argument or with administrative rights.
Desktop Player is the full-featured player with media library but for everyday use we offer small but useful desktop gadget included in SE-DesktopApps. It lets to play media files quickly through drag'n'drop them onto customized gadget with general player controls - play, stop, pause, track navigation.
My favorite update in SE-DesktopApps is the new Notes gadget. It's desktop component which helps to create text notes quickly and manage them in future. Earlier I had thousand .txt files with one line notes on my desktop. More than half was out-of-date and useless for me. Now I create my notes in our gadget and I don't need to choose place for saving and name for the file - I only click the "New" button, write all what I need to remember and close it. The program saves it itself and keep it in the gadget on my desktop.
Last gadget in my report is Explorer. Now it gets the access to the system drives only and provides info about memory usage. But in the future we plan to make a realy useful gadget with file manager functionality.
