Mikeparkie Posted March 11, 2007 Share Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) (1) Navigate to “Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Turn user account control on or off -> Untick ?Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer? -> OK -> restart (2) Download http://www.sonyericsson.com/downloads/Sony...te_3.1.1_EN.exe SonyEricssonPCSuite_3.1.1_EN.exe.exe (4) Follow the installer, it will produce an error message, ok the error (nothing will happen) (5) Navigate to “C:\Users\Your Account Name\AppData\Local\Temp” and locate the msi file and copy it to the desktop (6) DownlOrcatall Orca http://www.brentnorris.net/orca.msi which we will Sony Ericsson PC Suite.msiPC Suite.msiOrcaOpen OrcSony Ericsson PC Suite.msi C Suite.msiLaunchcondition chcondition and delete both entries on the rightFile the File and delmsxml4.dllb>msxmsxml4r.dll>msxml4r.dll and save the changes (9) Run the modified .msi installer from only and oPhone Managerhone Sync ManagerSync Manager (10) You should now be able to sync your Sony Ericsson with Windows Vista NB - Dont forget to turn UAC back on. lochnes Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 what gives...? When I run the installer it gives me a message that I need a Win 2000 or XP. I click OK and the setup then thanks me for playing and tells me to try again. I run Vista Ultimate.
