SlayerS_BoxeR
I haven't dropped nor damaged the laptop, but ive recently connected to hdmi port heavily (doesn't seem to be a solid reason though :( ) so basically sometimes the screen breaks and it greys out that i have to reboot in the end. when i reboot, sometimes the screen is grey that i have to repeat it for a while. i'm either thinking the problem is either a graphic card or need to replace a screen? the model is asus u31f - i bought a secondhand, but haven' had this issue almost a year ago do you think it's better off to buy a new laptop? Mindovermaster Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 Moderator Share Posted April 24, 2014 I think that's a screen issue. Ordered from them many times: http://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/ASUS/U31F/
snaphat (Myles Landwehr) Member Posted April 24, 2014 Member Share Posted April 24, 2014 Yeah, probably a panel issue. You can try reconnecting the cables if possible, but I doubt that is the issue. Also, it's unlikely to be a board issue of some sort because the panel would probably just not work completely at that point.
