FYI: Installing Microsoft Security update KB2962872 might crash IE or slow it down

I have tested our webapp (PTC's Windchill 10.x) in IE 8, 9 and 11 after installing this patch and I was able to reproduce the crash constantly in IE 9 running on different OSes (e.g. Win7, Win2k8 and Win2k8 R2).
