I want to uninstall a program that I compiled through source, but strangly enough in my 5 years of linux I have never done it with out apt-get! can someone tell me how to? kjordan2001 Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 If it doesn't have that, run make -n install and that will show you what files would be installed (without actually installing them) and any other commands that would be run as part of it so you can manually remove them or reverse whatever extra commands are run.
