Let?s go into a little more detail on exactly what you can expect as a viewer this weekend.

The Twitch Booth Stream
The Twitch booth is back in action for PAX Prime 2014 featuring a plethora of awesome content including game reveals, exclusive gameplay, developer interviews, and mini esports events, such as the TeSPA Collegiate Hearthstone Open, Capcom Pro Tour, and more. The Official PAX Panel Streams
PAX has a long history of hosting awesome gaming industry panels, so awesome and desired that many (if not most) will have lines queued up hours before with fans turned away at the door due to capacity. But you needn?t worry as the Main Stage and Hedgehog Theatre panels will be readily available at all times via the wonders of  live streaming. That?s right, you can tune in to twitch.tv/pax and twitch.tv/pax2, 8/29-9/1 from 10am-10pm PDT, to catch all of the action. Full schedules can be found here: Main Stage, Hedgehog Theatre.

The Next Level
Ubisoft?s ?The Next Level is back for PAX Prime 2014. The innovative new show could be called a gamer?s reality TV show: it?s got everything from coaches to contestants completing challenges and competing for prizes. Tune in 8/29-9/1 from 12pm-6pm PDT at twitch.tv/thenextlevel and click here for more information about the event.

North American LCS Summer Playoffs
Riot?s League of Legends Championship Series inches ever closer to it?s finale in October, but first we?ll see which teams move on to Korea and which will be watching from home! Tension rises as only four teams remain: LMQ, Cloud9, Team Solomid, and Team Curse. Tune in 8/29-8/31 from 11am-6pm PDT on twitch.tv/riotgames to follow the action or visit lolesports.com to learn more.

Halo PAX Prime Showdown
It?s the stateside hands-on debut of Halo: The Master Chief Collection at PAX Prime. Come to the ASTRO Gaming (Booth #842) and Skullcandy Gaming (Booth #3117) areas to get hands-on with Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer and qualify for the Halo PAX Prime Showdown. At the end of the day, we?ll be taking the top performers from each booth, and giving them a spot in the 8-team weekend finals. Play the game, get free swag, and be a part of Halo esports history in the making. For those not able to attend PAX, the Halo panel and all matches of the Halo PAX Prime Showdown will be live streamed starting 8/29-8/31 from 11am-6pm PDT, exclusively on twitch.tv/Halo. Click here for more information.

If you are lucky enough to attend PAX Prime, then we have a whole lot more in store for you: TOME Tournaments live from the Twitch Booth, Twitch Broadcaster Meet & Greets (with 40+ broadcasters), Twitch Panels, and, of course, the infamous Twitch Party. You can find all that information and more here. Remember that this is just a basic rundown of PAX Prime content, but if you keep your eyes on twitch.tv/event/pax you won?t miss a lick of action all weekend (and Monday!) long.

Project Totem

In Project Totem you control two pieces of a totem pole at the same time with the same input. The challenge? The two are not always on the same path. Project Totem also features a local ?couch? co-op campaign that you can challenge yourself and a friend with. It is designed to be played right away and does not require tutorial or unlocks. The basic premise for the co-op campaign? We have doubled everything ? except the double jump. It has been quadrupled!

Super Meat Boy: Forever, Fact Sheet.

SMB:F is a totally new touch based super meat boy game for Phones, Tablets and Steam made by Myself and Tommy Refenes.

Our goal with SMB:F is to design a new full length platformer for touch devices from the ground up to avoid tacking bad controls on an existing design. we want to make something that embodies the original Super Meat Boy but is designed around a simple yet intuitive control scheme allowing for pin point accuracy and surprisingly deep controls without the use of multiple buttons/analog sticks.

FAQ:

- SMB:F will release sometime next year for phones, tablets and steam. (possibly others but this is all we have set in stone right now)
- SMB:F will feature a full story, 6 chapters, and double the bosses the original game featured.
- SMB:F is not an endless runner, but will feature an endless mode with online high scores and daily runs.
- SMB:F will feature a full fledged dark world featuring dark warp zones, bosses, new playable indie game characters and more.
- SMB:F will feature a vast randomly generated level structure that ensures a totally new play experience with each death.
- SMB:F is only 2 months into development, but as you can see things are moving pretty fast.

THE NOT?S:
- SMB:F is not a simple endless runner
- SMB:F will not use abusive $ tactics to drain your wallet and cheapen the game experience
- SMB:F is not a port of super meat boy
- SMB:F is not a one button game
- SMB:F is not exclusive to phones/touch screens

Other info:
- Mewgenics is not canceled, we just put it on hold to work full time on this one. once SMB:F is released we will hop back on it.
- A Voyeur for September is not a new game, it was just a code name (and anagram) for Super Meat Boy Forever that tommy made up on the spot a day before pax needed a name for the game we were showing (he wanted it to be a surprise)

Source: http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/08/31/pax-2014-the-order-1866-seems-great-except-for-one-thing

The Order: 1886 demo I played at PAX Prime was one of the stranger slices of a game I?ve played in quite some time. It managed to reel me in from the get-go and keep my attention until the very end, despite some deep gameplay flaws. Let?s start with the positives.

I don?t need to tell you that The Order is a gorgeous video game. The characters, setting, and lighting effects are all top-notch. The world is an interesting and unique setting that straddles a nice line between Victorian horror and alternate history. The idea of a game combining werewolves and Nikola Tesla is fantastic -- I love the looking at a historical setting and playing with the idea of what it would be like with a dash of technology here and a bit of magic there. The few major events I was privy to inside of the world were equally intriguing. The voice work and banter between my team was great, and it was genuinely one of the few times where a game transitioned from a cinematic into gameplay, and I just sat there not moving because I didn?t spot the hard-cut from one to the other.

But sadly, as much as I really admired these aspects of The Order, the actual act of playing the game resonated far less with me. This certainly isn't the first time we've had reservations about The Order's gameplay. Once I did actually realize that I was in control of my character, I was thrust into a cover-based gunfight against a mob of enemies scattered across the levels of a nearby building. The sticky-cover system definitely feels like Gears of War, which is not a knock in my book. Epic really nailed that aspect, so there?s no reason to fix what isn?t broke. But while Gears had a great suite of weapons with some fantastic visual feedback when you made contact with an enemy, The Order?s arsenal felt like some really gorgeous prop guns.

My main weapon in the demo was a machine gun that also fired off explosive-flares. I loved the small detail of how the flare would corkscrew through the air on its way to my target, but igniting the explosive never gave me the desired effect. Blasts right on top of enemies didn?t seem to faze them, and certain explosions would cause structural damage while others seemed to just be bursts of light. So I instead decided to focus on picking them off with my rifle. The problem here was that the bullets spread out in such a wide area so quickly, that I could burst-fire an entire clip at an enemy across a street and have every single bullet miss its target.

Source article is longer and has gameplay videos.

Andrew - We are better off having different threads for so many videos. This page killed my mobile browser and it's a struggle to open on desktop too.
