Facebook sees a heavy amount of photographs uploaded to its site every day, which is probably why the social networking company decided to do us all a favor and enhance our uploaded pictures on our behalf.
Facebook recently announced the new feature, which is designed to improve the lighting of photos that are uploaded from a mobile device. The feature will kick off on the iOS platform and eventually roll out to other platforms. It should be noted that the tool isn't meant for the desktop site, so those that upload photos directly from their computers may never see the enhancement tool.
This new tool aims to make images more visible by correcting darkness and clarity within uploaded photos, making photos easier to edit on various devices. While the tool does have its own settings designed to automatically improve your photos, users will have the option to adjust the corrections through a simple sliding tool prior to posting the pictures online.
Whether Facebook is removing notable features from its service or adding them, one thing is clear: the social networking site wants more control of your photos, evidenced by the new of an A.I. being created to stop bad selfies from reaching the web.
