Hmm, Like what? Because The pre-orders include the same stuff and I this says Characters will not be exclusive - http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2014/12/10/mortal-kombat-x-characters-none-will-be-platform-exclusive-according-to-netherrealm/

I'm not sure what the exclusive content will be, I couldn't find any announcements about it just the fact that the PS3 and PS4 will have exclusive content.

tekken>mortal kombat

Namco-Bandai can't even be bothered to give PC users a bad port of Tekken to play, so your comment is moot I'm afraid.

I loved Mortal Kombat Komplete on PC (except the 360 controller SUCKS for it--need a proper D-pad or stick to play MK).

Looking forward to this one, but will probably just rent it for console. I'll buy the "Komplete" (or w/e) edition when it is ready...

just because there's no PC port doesn't mean it's not a better game... tekken tag tournament 2 is a freaking classic I love playing it on my PS3... even though it has no story mode (then again the story mode in MK9 was outright laughable)

It is a multiplatform title but the PS4 and PS3 will just have exclusive content.

Oh ok thanks, I was confused but I'm guessing each system will get its own special thing like an extra stage or character costume maybe. Will there be blood on the Nintendo version?

It won't be released for Wii or Wii U, developers skipped Nintendo for MKX. Only the PS4 and PS3 will have additional content, similar to Destiny. Xbox will have the base game and the PS will have some extra content, not sure what that content is but a previous MK had additional characters on PS it might just be extra DLC's or early access to new game characters or something like that but it hasn't been announced yet.

Goro is pre-order exclsuve, not platform exclusive.

Didn't you used to have unlock extra characters after beating the game, i.e. using skill

tekken>mortal kombat

Popularity-wise this is factually false.  One thing I would like to ask Namco is where this fabled and promised Tekken vs Street Fighter game went?  SF vs Tekken came out years ago already...  and not a peep from Namco since.  What the heck are they waiting for?

...but yeah, even the creator of SF4/SF5 was jealous of MK9's game modes/story content.

I'm interested in this game but the DLC planning pushes me away.

Curious; are you talking about the kombat pack characters?

MK9 story mode maybe better than other fighters. But MK9 net code was trash and nether realm  patched the game to death. Tekken is also more popular world wide and tekken tag 2 is still played at tournaments while mk9 is a dead game.

But yes MK9 was one of the best selling fighting games, because it does cater to the casual players.

I'm not a hardcore fighter fan, but isn't Tekken a more technical fighter, whereas MK is more arcade-ish?

Isn't it like comparing flight simulator and ace combat?
