AndyD
I tried updating my drivers to the latest from Intel's website but it didn't help. Not sure what's going on. Could it just be a NIC at this point? There is another one onboard which I can switch to but I rather address the issue than ignore
goretsky Supervisor Posted January 27, 2015 Supervisor Share Posted January 27, 2015 Hello, Have you tried going into the power management settings for the network adapter and disabling the "sleep" option? T3X4S
Power Settings, Advanced, then select the adapter, go to Properties - Then look around in 1 of the tabs and you can disable any power mgmt settings. - tell it to never go to sleep
AndyD
T3X4S - don't see anything related to Ethernet there Gorestky - I had looked there but nothing really stands out. I just disabled "Energy Efficient" mode to see if that helps. I built this pc about three years ago - not sure if it's starting to fail on me - I've had some random issues with USB as well. But yeah, it's only in the last two weeks where I started to experience this ethernet issue. Not driver related since before upgrading the drivers it was using some pretty old ones.
