Wondering if the same edition for the 980 would be worth the upgrade? I have tried to look at reviews, but seems varied quite a bit. I know one benefit is the 4GB or 3GB, but besides this... I thought my signature would point out, I run at 2560x1440 (not three monitors at once, just one)... So I am already seeing new games have issues playing, having to turn certain things off. Other than that, SLI might be option if your board can handle it. Once DX12 comes out, the 980 would be better for that, so it wouldn't necessarily be money down the drain. You just wouldn't see HUGE gains right away.
