ACTIONpack
I'm on the tmobile network with a family plan with my family. At the point in tried with the 2.5GB data. I want to switch to a different carieer so I can get unlimited data. But I don't want to spend an arm and leg for it. I heard good things about Straight talk and the unlimited plan is only $50 a month. Is it true that it uses Tmobile, ATT and Verizon network? I will be using the Lumia 930 International model. Vourdex
Straight Talk Unlimited is not Unlimited. They throttle you to really slow speeds after 3GB of data. Also I think the phone determines which network you end up on with Straight Talk. For instance the S4 uses AT&T and the S3 uses Verizon. Or if you order a SIM card it can be on different network as well. Just make sure you check all that stuff before you switch. Here is the fine print on their site: *30 day Unlimited Plans include 3 GB of high speed data per 30 day cycle. After 3 GB, your data speed will be reduced to as low as 64 kbps for the remainder of the 30 day cycle. If your data speed is reduced, the reduced speed may impact the functionality of some data applications, such as streaming audio or video or web browsing. Straight Talk reserves the right to terminate your service for Unauthorized or abnormal usage. Please refer always to the latest Terms and Conditions of Service at StraightTalk.com. TAZMINATOR
Sprint has unlimited plans for either single or family lines. http://www.sprint.com/landings/datashare/index.html?INTNAV=ATG:HE:UnlimitedPlan&view=unlimitedtalk They also have other plans (2, 4, 6, 8gb, or whatever) if you don't want unlimited. Vourdex
I think you can just upgrade your plan to like 6GB of data and that should help you out without having to switch. http://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/mobile-internet.html Also you could look at www.ting.com it uses the Sprint network I think, and it is pay as you go. So if you use less data one month it's going to be cheaper. And it is across all devices you have registered to the account. Check the FAQ here: https://ting.com/rates Or you could check out Verizon: http://www.verizonwireless.com/landingpages/more-everything/ Hope this helps!
