Home folder - Via AD set as default save

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening all,

 

I'm looking for a way to set the default save location in Office/Creative Cloud/etc to a users home folder on 10.10.3

 

The machines are domain joined to AD, and map the home directory automatically, with a folder appearing on the dock for access.

 

essentially i want office/etc to use this home folder, or a /%OU%/%OU%/%USERNAME%/ style location as the save location.

DFS is enabled, but from what I can tell, OSX doesn't play well with it.

 

I looked on google, and there's not much useful info there.

Through those articles/ the phrase "folder redirection" I was able to figure out what was wrong.
