Standard -- 16.04 will be the next LTS, every 2 years.

This is interesting. We've had Jaunty Jackalope and Utopic Unicorn, and now we've got Wily Werewolf. Some people would claim that none of these is an actual animal (sometimes calling them instead "cryptids"), but what is more intriguing here is that the werewolf is actually a human (most of the time). As for what happens after Z, well, they could go to A, as they've never done it before.

I'm waiting for Unity 9 to be honest. Right now, Debian seems to be working just fine.. I'm still on the fence with systemd though.. A lot of linux security experts scream about it being a security risk..

You can upgrade that lattest version to the Live ish build at anytime useing.....

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install update-manager-core
$ sudo do-release-upgrade -d

Note the -d means use Development Version It can be quite  unstable  use at you're own Risk.
