techbeck
A fugitive who spent time at the penitentiary featured in prison-escape film The Shawshank Redemption was finally apprehended in Florida after 56 years on the lam. Authorities arrested 79-year-old Frank Freshwaters, who also used the name Williams Cox, on Tuesday after receiving a tip from U.S. Marshals that he was living in Melbourne, Fla., News13 reports. LaP
Honestly if it did not do anything wrong other than using aliases and fake documents in the last 56 years they should let him go. He is 79 now and i think it would be a waste of taxpayers money to jail him. ThaCrip, Krome and TruckWEB 3 Share

DoctorD
.......escaped from another state facility in Sandusky seven months into a 20-year-sentence for violating the probation of his manslaughter conviction. He was previously caught in the 1970s in West Virginia but was released after a failed extradition. He isn't going to far now that he is in a wheel chair. Yeah, but they don't care as there is probably $$$ to be made. they don't really care what's right, they only care what the law says/how much $$$ they can get

siah1214
Yeah guys, if you kill somebody and then escape from prison and evade capture for almost 60 years, that totally absolves you of blame from the crime! You should get let off because of your mad skillz, which definitely WON'T encourage copycats, with people trying to replicate your success. br0adband
"He was previously caught in the 1970s in West Virginia but was released after a failed extradition." So this is a story about nothing at all, really. And he was given probation for voluntary manslaughter but skipped out on the probation which then resulted in a 20 year sentence for skipping out. 20 years for a probation violation? No offense, U.S. Justice System, but I'd break out too for such a bloated sentence... 20 freakin' years for a probation violation, man, our entire system of law is so screwed and is never going to get any better, sadly.
