ACTIONpack
Last month I call Xfinity/Comcast to change my rates because I don't use tv that much just the internet. Was talking to them over an hour. Well next month/today they up my rates back to what I had before. Has anyone had this issue with them and billing. It went up $30 back to $170 and I'm not getting HD channels anymore. I don't understand how this company would be this mean and lairs. Bad thing about it is that they are the only game in town with high speed internet. :-(

farmeunit
Just tell them to go to either fix it or you'll go someplace else. Even if you can't go to another service, they'll probably take care of it. That's what I do when my "promotional" rate runs out. Time Warner is our only option here for cable, but I only have internet through them, anyway. I can get DSL through CenturyLink, but it's pretty slow here. I told them to cancel mine unless they dropped the price back down. It was only a $10 difference, but it was the principle. We actually got free upgrade from 50/5 to 200/20 a few weeks ago, so happy I stayed.
