benjamine6
Yesterday morning, My brothers got on my computer and it recieved a extremely nasty virus, Which soon prevented Windows from starting up. I had to nuke and reinstall the OS. Now, I want my computer to log in via my voice for security reasons, And my voice ONLY. Is there any programs that will allow me to do that? link6155
I don't think there is such a program at this time, however Windows 10 will be bringing Windows Hello. Hello will let you sign into Windows with biometric (e.g. eyes, face, fingers, etc).

As others said there could be security risks by using it. When using Windows 10, Hello will be built in by RTM.

It's a bit too early to say there's security risk as Windows 10 hasn't been finalized nor has Hello made it to the insider builds as far as I know. You can try this but it won't go to the desktop quick enough: Not sure you would like this. This is all I know that is available for now. If I were you, I'd wait until RTM build gets released and you can install a fresh copy of Windows 10 so you can setup Hello with your voice. Which is more stable and quick by RTM. But if i really have to get Windows 10 for a voice login security ethic, Then so be it.
Tomo
Surely it's a security risk? Your brother could record your voice and then fool the computer into logging on for him.

Anibal P
Not sure if cereal. 7 has been on life support for some time now. It is not getting new features. IMO 7 and Vista should have died by now, luddites aside I don't know why MS allows vendors to sell you a computer with a dated and soon to be dead OS with win
CrossCheck
2 days ago you were complaining that your computer was hacked. https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1257712-my-computer-has-been-hacked/ Now you are saying your brothers got on your computer and got your computer infected with a virus. What really happened to your comp. Sounds like you and your brothers need to stay away from torrents and the porn. Jase 1 Share

Only controlling apps and speak to text in Word program, etc. Get a new PC/laptop with Windows 7 or 8.1 then you get free a copy of Windows 10. So you can keep Windows 7 on your current pc/laptop. current pc/laptop for something else such as gaming, Reminder: Windows 7 supports until 2020. new pc/laptop for everyday usages with Hello. That's simple. Think about that. I don't think Hello will be ported to Windows 7. Maybe 8.1, maybe not. I have Windows 7 on one of my laptops. And I have Windows 10 on other. No problem.
