Windows Live Mail & Hotmail

Question

My wife has a hotmail account and she is tired of logging in and and seeing all the mail there.

Can windows live mail download all mail from hotmail? I am not just saying Inbox but all folders she created?

She also wants to remove them from Hotmail once downloaded. I know contacts can be exported to a CSV and that is not a problem.

Use outlook instead...

Go to office.com and look for office preview.

You can either get a license or subscription for office.

or he can use the free live mail that work just as well for a home user and until outlook decides to add multi inbox view, even better.

and yes. live mail will download all your folders and mail.

live mail is no longer supported..  If OP gets security risks, then that's his problem.

MS has moved on to Outlook for now.

That's why I suggested Outlook.  If he wants free, then use outlook.com instead.

Outlook has those features, especially the download mail offline.
