Build 10159 Music App crashing

I upgraded to build 10159 last night after the Music app was working fine yesterday. Now today, it crashes when I launch it and when I go into the App store to reinstall it, the App store window closes and the reinstall doesn't work. I tried to run dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup in a CMD prompt but that didn't do any good. Reboots haven't worked either. Any ideas?

For me it pops up a window saying This app can't open and it tells me to check the Store for more info.

Yeah, that's what mine says too. When I click on "Go to Store" and ry to reinstall, the Store App crashes. But, I am able to open other Apps and download Store apps. Sucks too because the Music app was working just fine in 10158 build.

yep i have the  same issue.. maybe its due to the upgade rather than a clean install.

I did the upgrade to 59 and have no problem with playing MP3 or regular CD files. No idea why just a note to let you know it's not a general problem.

Interesting. It does seem to happen to others. Wonder if it's a SP 3 issue.

 

We don't have a clean install for this build, do we?

Mine was an upgrade and I'm running it on Vbox. I only only done iso install for the initial start back in October.
