Need almost perfect OS X icons.

Recommended Posts

Just like the title says,

I need almost IDENTICAL icons to Mac OS X,

If you know of any good icons packs (drives, folders, everything) that would be great.

Thanks

"More than 1,000 PNGs purely extracted from Max OS X"

http://www.osx-e.com/modules.php?modid=1&a...=download&id=58

Enjoy :D

btw: If you need to convert from PNG to ICO, I suggest Icon Sushi

I was gonna recommend that.

You can get a lot of OSX goodies from OSX-E, and that was my favorite website along with Aqua-soft when I was crazy about emulating Mac.

Thanks, I downloaded the 1000 icon pack, now the only trouble I'm having...is installing them, can anybody tell me if there is an easy way to install all the ones I want quickly?

I don't think there's way to do that other than changing one by one, unless you have StyleXP or IconPackager.

I might be wrong.

Does anybody know of any icon packages (for icon packager) that are exact OS X icons? That would be so perfect

Thanks

Try one of them.

http://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?...ID=1005&LibID=2

http://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?...nID=946&LibID=2

I don't think neither are exact 100% OSX port, but they're using OSX icons anyway.

Snow is my favorite all the time.

The way I customize icons is by using: IconTweaker

It lets you customize specific system icons individually using ICO files.

I suggest using the pack of 1000 OS X icons, converting the ones you will use from PNG to ICO, and using Icontweaker. That way you will get the exact OS X icons, and you will only have to change the ones you want to change. :)
