I traded in my ?04 Ford Focus for this guy, and I think it was a great buy. It was a little under 27k, since it?s got the advanced anti-theft system, the 1000 watt stereo system, and the extended warranty. In the end, it?s the sexiest car I?ve driven. Here?re s4.0 V6 at 210hp and 240 ft-lbs of torque 5-speed manual Leather In-dash 6-CD/MP3 changer 1000 watt stereo system with dual subwoofers in the backthe back Being that I?m 19, I decided to go for the V6, since the GT is a killer on insurance. The sales rep told me that the 05 V6 is about on par with the 04 GT. I don?t know if that?s true, but it?s definitely a killer ride. This is definitely one of those cars that turns heads, at least in my area, and the stick shift makes it all the more fun to drive! Here?re some pics. RGSPro Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 the 05 v6 is not on par with the 04GT, that was a big lie, its on par with the 99-04 v6's since its the same engine, same car weight. All around the US its already been declared the sorrority girl car of 2005. They are all over the place for young boys and mostly girls in college with rich daddies buying them birthday presents. Falls right into the trendwhoredness of previous 90's - 2000's mustangs, mitsubishi eclipses and the like. Whidbey05 Posted March 11, 2005 Share Posted March 11, 2005 the 4.0 CAN make a lot more power then thats, ford is just restricting it so its not so close to the 300hp of the GT. The new V6 is ahead of the 99-04 v6 it has better gearing and 20more hp and more tq to make up for the weight. The new stangs look good to me if they DONT have the ugly inner lights. +E.Worm Jimmy Subscriber¹ Posted March 11, 2005 Subscriber¹ Share Posted March 11, 2005 not bad car. i like the outside looks (love the rims, and color, but whats with the stupid stripe?) interior is crap though. which is a pity. also 210 is ridiculously small power for a 4 liter. you got to be kiddning me. any modern average 3 liter can normaly give over 200 hp. even 4 cylinder engines are getting close to the 200 hp :whistle: so unless its a fords crap engine you should be able to mod it to give its true power ;) i know i would. having a 210 mustang is a joke.
