Lost `Star Wars` cloak found in London

LONDON, England (UPI) -- The cloak worn by British actor Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi in 'Star Wars' was found hanging among monk robes in a London costume warehouse.

After the 1977 'Star Wars,' the British costume firm Bermans loaned the cloak to several other productions, the BBC reported Tuesday.

Bermans was bought out by Angels the Costumiers in 1992 and somehow, the fabled robe became mixed in with a group of monk costumes at the Angels warehouse.

A sharp-eyed stock clerk recognized the cloak earlier this year and now it`s on exhibit at Harrods department store in London with costumes from 'Four Weddings and Funeral,' 'Shakespeare in Love' and the 'Pink Panther' films.
