0 jp10558
Your googlefu is weak. See UltraVNC or TightVNC, or Logmein.com. There is even MS remote Desktop if using XP Pro.

0 Pezhed
LogMeIn.com is good and free if you only want to remote control. You can pay more for transfer options and more... Works good! :D guess I was too slow... Edited November 16, 2005 by Pezhed

0 Brodel
I don't mean to crash the post but I do have a similar question. I was looking for something that would let me get files from my PC at home, by using a PC at University (incase I forget a paper or something). It seems all these apps need to be installed on both comptuers which I couldn't do at University. Is there a work around that would let me do that? IE not client need be installed - just a browser. As to just accessing file - setup a ftp server on your home pc.. again nothing should have to be installed on the client machine. 0 Emile
Thanx for the responses. I didn't even think about ms remote desktop. Trying that first.
0 shihchiun
You won't be able to use Remote Desktop from work to access your home computer, only from home to access your work computer. XP Home has the viewer, but not the server part. Also, keep in mind that you will have to be able to open and forward any ports that the software needs to use.
