Pox
Humm... I'm not sure if it's just me, or just black... but it seems every single link on a forum listing is underlined. Looks a tad busy... check your black stylesheet?

strekship
I noticed that on the Neowin black theme, all of the links are underlined. None of the other color themes seem to have this issue. Is that intended or is it a bug?
Simon Veteran Posted February 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2007 You'll notice it on Midnight, too. It's because it's the only way to t4ell the difference between the links and the text.
Code.Red
Yeah, it's kind of weird. I think it would be better if it only underlined links in a post, not the whole forum. But now I'm used to it. :p
Fred Derf Veteran Posted February 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2007 It was requested by our members so we enabled it on Black and Midnight (and perhaps Grey as well).
strekship
oh. It sort of makes things look a bit messy.
ozgeek
Could of just changed the link color to something like grey.
Pox
Or maybe bold text? I see the point with not being able to tell they're links... but maybe at least the topic names could be un-underlined? I mean, I'm pretty sure we know they're links :p
shockz
I'm switching back to blue... way too ugly with all the lines. They are everywhere.
Vykranth
It was requested by our members so we enabled it on Black and Midnight (and perhaps Grey as well). Fair enough but what about a dark blue for the links? I'm switching back to blue... way too ugly with all the lines. They are everywhere. Timan Veteran Posted February 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2007 I made the text in Black blue now, and will do something similar for midnight, so there won't be lines everywhere. You'll just have to get used to having color on those themes.
Joel
I made the text in Black blue now, and will do something similar for midnight, so there won't be lines everywhere. You'll just have to get used to having color on those themes. giga Veteran Posted February 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2007 I'll be switching to Black for now until Midnight is back to colors. It was too busy. =/

Quillz
Beautiful, the color goes well in the theme. Thanks a lot. I agree... The blue is way better than the underline :D
Fourjays Veteran Posted February 5, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 5, 2007 The colour used on black looks out of place to me (especially on large text, small text doesn't look as bad). The rest of the design is black/grey without a hint of blue. Midnight looks sweet though. :)
Dom
I would prefer a darker blue for midnight but MEH At least now everything isnt underlined
The_Decryptor Veteran Posted February 6, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 6, 2007 I think it's great, was the only thing about midnight that annoyed me. So thanks. (Y)
p858snake
I made the text in Black blue now, and will do something similar for midnight, so there won't be lines everywhere. You'll just have to get used to having color on those themes. The CSS code for underlining in posts only is: .post1 a, .post2 a { text-decoration: underline; } can we have it so its only in the posts?, cause the forum index looks a tiny bit messy with the all the blue text
Timan Veteran Posted February 7, 2007 Veteran Share Posted February 7, 2007 I added underlines to black only, but midnight looks fine with the color links in my opinion... but if more people gripe guess we can change it.
