New WHQL Forceware Drivers

Recommended Posts

They are already up to 169.04

Don't bother with these.

Yes and those are BETA drivers.

Some people prefer to use tested and signed drivers to ensure compatibility and bug-free.

169.04 are still beta, these are WHQL for those that are interested, however as referred in the version numbers 169. is a lot further on that 163.

@+RatherLargeBear

These are just the Beta 163.75 with a WHQL certification slapped on, Beta or not, all drivers are basically the same. I have had no issues using some beta drivers while other (supposedly certified) drivers gave me the nice "Driver is not responding" error every 3-4 min in windows.

For Vista x86, these drivers left under my Users folder:

C:\Users\Jonathan\{db1ea918-c86a-45d0-9ce8-88f24761de41}\nvmobls.dll

I assume this folder and file is safe to delete?

FYI, the x64 driver download appears to be corrupt as of 1750 hours Central time.

Its corrupt here as well. Downloaded it twice and it tells me the installer is corrupt.

I will have to wait until it is updated or until a secondary link is provided.

Installer worked fine for me, except for the fact that I guess this Vista x64 laptop from work doesn't have a supported card. Guess I'll have to test tomorrow on my XP x64 system.
