Ah really? Probably, I haven't looked into it since I have the game, but I presume either way, it's running off the full game engine so requirement should be the same.

I was wondering that too. Not because of bandwidth limitations though. Just curious how long it'd take to download if i would try it.

I don't know the specifics but I can tell you that my steam folder is 6.5GB, and the system upgrades at a rate of about 500kb/s.

For those who have downloaded, can you check? It should be inside your Steam folder, called SteamApps?

sundax: 6.5 Gb, that must have include CS:Source, HL2, etc..can you check on the individual files under steam apps?

If I go to File > Backup games in Steam and select TF2, the amount of space reads 6622 MB. I'm assuming the files are delivered to you compressed, so the amount of bandwidth required might be a bit less.

Be ready to play on servers with at least 6 medics. It's great if you are offensive class. I have 100+ hours as medic, but now I don't play as one because there so many. Fortunately medics run to you if you are a Pyro or Heavy.
