Is Spybot's website down?

I have been trying to get to Spybot's homepage for 2 days now to see about updates, and it doesn't seem to be responding.

Here is the trace log I have for it, and it indeed is timing out:

It is obviously not my isp or my router blocking it because hops get out of my network and the ISP network.

Any one else having issues as well?

Hmmm.. odd.

I will have to look deeper into this...

I have scanned my system with ESET's NOD32 and it is clean, and second to last updates for Spybot and everything is clean.

It must is a routing issue.

Well after 3 days I still can not access their website.

Is it possible they are blocking my ip address for some reason? I don't see why that would be the case as I only download their weekly updates and update the products on my systems.

Since I can not get to the website myself, would someone be able to give me some sort of contact information for them so I can see if in fact they are blocking my ip address? Or if they can help find the issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

So happy to find someone else with my problem!!! In apt we have 2 laptops and 1 HP hardwired to Comcast modem. For several weeks I am unable to reach ANY spybot page through my modem, with all 3 computers. HOWEVER, when both laptops wifi with the neighbor's network everything is fine. Tracerts to spybot.info or safer-networking.net both lead to ......manitu.net.

My comcast modem gets timed out by manitu

My neighbor's comcast (I think) does not get timed out by manitu

Does this mean manitu is disliking our modem's ISP

How would we fix this?

I have no idea what the issue is, and neither does my ISP.

I have tried a new modem, new router, different IP addresses...

I have even went as far as formatting all my computers and trying.. still with no luck. It is however really starting to **** me off.

Just joined specifically to post to this thread, also not working for me, and not routed through manitu... I'm on Bellsouth in FL. It's driving me crazy, too because I have active threads on Spybot Forums that I need to post to for a malware fix on two computers. If anyone knows anything, let me know! Thanks!

where is spybot based out of? usa or england or somewhere else?

i thing the wise one may be right, it seems logical that if comcast and quest and bellsouth users are unable to gain access to it then it may be that maybe spybot's internet has blacklisted us all :-(

i got crafty with google's cache links

if you goto http://google.com and paste the following url (as-is) in there then you should get back 4x cached links each with a cache link, click th elink to see what's going on:

i got 4x cache links, they are from february 2008 but explain that the issue has to do with spybot's host failing to get issues corrected fast enough for them so they decided to move to a new host..

i would surmise that it seems logical their new host may have some of our ip ranges blacklisted...

what else do you all think may be going on?
