BE/O2 Broadband major network outage may/may not affect other uk isp's

Hello all!

Just a quick message to let you know about the current o2 / BeThere outage.

As of 21:00 hours o2 broadband technical support have just advised that the current routing issue is a known problem and that they are working on it at the moment.

It appears someone has updated a firewall in telco house London and there is now a total loss of http connectivity.

You MAY be able to connect to other computers via VPN / Remote Desktop. PoP3 / IMAP may work in fits and starts.

Cheers for that I was wondering why my Internet was messed up!
