I am thinking getting a pocket pc with wifi, due to budget consent i maybe only manage to get a zire71 with a wifi card,

anyway i need to pocket pc to use it for remote desktop,
is there a software remote desktop from palm?

is there any cheap pocketpc around zire71 price?

i know i raise my question, pls take your time to answer my post.

thankyou.

There might be a version of VNC around for the Palm, but I highly doubt it.

Your best bet is to really just save up for a PocketPC, Terminal Services beats any remote solution hands down.

you dont even need the client... a browser will let you connect to the vnc server

I use this program to remote connect to my PC with my Palm.

Works great, and it's free.

You're welcome. BTW, the Zire 71 is the best Palm PDA for the money. (Of course you knew that already). cool.gif

Well, the Z71 retails for $299 (I know it's cheaper in some places) so here's an option from HP, which are the best PocketPCs IMO.

the 1945 already beats the Zire so why bother? Waste of time, and if you don't want bluetooth then get the 1930... for $199

woh, the bluetooth cost $50, $ 50 rebate, total $100

by the way, going to save some money to buy a wifi SDIO

where can i find it?

now, should i go for 1935 or 1940 or Zire 71

You could always get a pocketpc, and buy something called 'StyleTap', this lets you run palm apps/games on a pocketpc. I have it here, it rocks being able to run any handheld (palm or ppc) application and game.
