unfortunately theres not going to be a general concensus on the topic because theres a wide range of people who prefer Object Dock and a wide range of people who prefer Y'z dock.

I used to prefer Y'z Dock. But since it's untimely demise, Objectdock has added all the features I liked in Y'z Dock, and is smoother too. (yes, Objectdock can even do proper seperators, if you know how.

)
I am also now using ObjectDock rather than Mobydock and find it remarkably better. Much smoother and less buggy for me.

I personally have been using objectdock full time since 0.90 and its great. And with the new RC 1 build, you can now have official separators.
And now it has the feature where it stays hidden until you hover over it and then it jumps to the front.

I use Mobydock, because it's the only one that's hardware accelerated. It runs the smoothest for me.

I used mobydock, and if you have a fast machine, it runs perfect. But does anyone no what a good icon set would be? Im not looking for anything special, just some .png's that are high-rez like the default ones that come w/the dock.

Just a question...I know there is probably and answer to this somewhere...but
Why the hell did Mac (jack asses) kill YzDock? I mean if it were still in development, it would be the BEST DOCK out there. And WHY are Moby and Objectdock still around and Mac hasnt killed them too (not that I would complain)?
YZDOCK RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah no kidding, DX9 acceleration is great. I don't see how it can not be smooth unless you have a real ****ty gfx card. It was the only one that ran smooth on my old rig (p3 700) while OD was choppy.

Yz Dock gets the award for best dock. It is so good, Apple threatened to take legal action.
I still prefer ObjectDock the best. But the newest version of it doesn't allow me to add folders to it. In version .86 (i think), it allowed me to drag standard folders to it. The newest one won't let me. Either way, it looks and runs the best for me.
Best Dock?

Y'z Dock or Mobydock here, I like Objectdock too but I can't use it because it doesn't have multi monitor support (that I know of)

Wow, I thought it was just me. OD crashes my computer when I try to add folders. I switched back to Yz because of that... : (
I am all the way to Y'z Dock. It's that good as Apple ask the creator to stop create the thing. See? Apple is too afraid that Y'z dock will emulate the dock EXACTLY like apple's
