Well still waiting on my Powerbook, but just wondering how hard it is to get Apache/MySQL/PHP to install on OS X.. that is even if it can be done.

i think they come preinstalled on Panther. and i think 10.2... maybe the earlier ones. i'm sure its in the doccumenataion that comes with ur PB, or check the apple website, or call techsupport

ok cool, well I hope its installed, would make it a lot easier wink.gif anyone else know?

Apache comes pre-installed.

An easy installer package for PHP can be found here: http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/
Also, the MySQL Group provides an installer for MySQL which can be found here: http://www.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-4.0.html

awsome! thanks a ton, yeah shortly after reading the replies i came across the entropy sit efor the PHP installer.
