Dan Patrick broke the news on ESPN Radio earlier today. WEEI (Boston) and WFAN (NY) radio stations also reporting the story.

good news. im glad to see that someone finally decided to leave the yankees. they said on PTI that theres still a chance pettitte could stay in NY, but it would take some serious begging by steinbrenner, possibly if he got the image of becoming the winningest lefty in yankee history into Andy's mind
Not done deal yet, from what i heard its a 3 Year/30 Million dollar deal. He wanted something along 15/yr from the yanks, i see them offering 12-13.
sportscenter has just reported that pettitte will give the yankees one last chance to sign him

News Update - Astros to sign Andy Pettitte. News has been posted on Yahoo that Andy has confirmed his move to Houston.

According the ESPN.com hes signed by the Astros. Also said the Yankees will now go after Kevin Brown. (Um, with Weaver though?
