I read and am trying to follow the guides. it seems to be sitting on the screen that says "the following devices are available for installation"

There needs to be support for DMG files...i dont want to have to import my images into a Mac to convert to ISO...so long...

Another thing I've noticed: when typing, sometimes the letter gets repeated a few times. For example, if I'm in Safari, and type: http://www.neowin.net, it may come out as, http://www.nnnneeeowinn.nnnet//

I'm using a Microsoft Bluetooth Keyboard; but that shouldnt effect it.

Go into the Mouse & Keyboard setup in OS X and slow it way down. Because of the clock cycle going several time faster than normal you can expect the keyboar and mouse to over react.

The R2 release defaults to 256MB, instead of 128MB that 0.1.x use.

Do you mean Richard's 0.2pre trunk? Defaults to 128mb on mine.

any idea why ?

I can't wait for a proper video driver to come out so it can take a whole bunch of processing off the cpu smile.gif

As soon as this gets fast enough for flawless fullscreen i wont use it, too slow ATM. Im predicting 1 month @ the rate they are going.
mecca™
Might take longer, but I hope you're right smile.gif

Still no luck with the network
Ive tried 5 times now disconnecting the network card in config file
and it still says it isnt plugged in

Could it be my ip adress and whatnot
syphern
They need to implement some direct x and support for hyperthreading. A couple more tweaks and bug fixes, and boom a great working emulator. Unless Apple shut them down then we are stuck with the current version.
mecca™
MMU proper hardware implemantations would be very usefull.
gamestargrinder
do u think i need to reinstall 10.3.4 update to get networking working
TheReaperMan
right got mine working again, had problems after the 10.3.4 update. I did like Dazzla said, comment out the network bit, boot osx, went into networking, checked it was removed etc, shut down osx, re put the lines back, reboot osx, installed card again. net cam back up no problem, mm nearly got it file sharing with my xp box almost:D(still playing with it, hopefully will be able to file share soon)
mecca™
No, reinstall the TAP

Even if that were to happen, the source code is out there and it would just be pushed further underground, it can’t be stopped now.

I had problems with networking also. When I copied the drive .img and put it on another PC, and using the same config file, etc., everything ran perfectly. Go figure.

Thats your problem there. You can't use the network with 10.3.4. It hasn't been solved yet. if you can get back to 10.3.3 then your network will work fine.
gamestargrinder
how do i go back
offroadaaron
(puts hand up) i have higher res then 1024x768 working biggrin.gif
SAMeAiM
It works just fine for me in 10.3.4 smile.gif
