This looks very slick. Reminds me a bit of b0se's DMX theme (from way back). I've been using that theme for a long time since its one of a few themes that have a Trillian Pro skin. Does this theme have a normal sized start menu (I haven't tried it due to the lack of a Trillian skin).

looks very much like windows' classic with some mods, I don't see what's the fuss about
it looks okay though

What is konfabulator?
If you mean the icon for the startmenu, that are just 2 gears I made in illustrator.
