actually I just tried to join.. something is wrong with the server what are you guys doing.. it crashes the game saying de_vegas.wad cannot be found.. don't tell me its my fault.. I can join every other server.

To get people to play you just post here and tell them to come, then the server is almost full...

For a fact you guys, the server sucks, no offense. For westcoast people, we lag like hell. Why would I play on a server that is not even decent when I can play all the others?

I would join except it's pointless, the newest CS update if giving me loads of memory read errors. I don't think it's just me either, there's a 32 page thread about it on the Steam forums somewhere...meh

I don't get the memory error, but it does crash out of the blue every now and then.

As for the server, I don't play in it because of the password, it's an easy password to remember yes, but I don't wanna go through the hassle of typing 6 letters just to play with 1 or 2 other people. And when you password a server, you're cutting out basically all the CS players.

Yeah I'm getting about 100-150 ping on the server too, although that won't stop me playing on it..

As for the memory errors, I can't start a New Game at all (for testing maps) and the Scout/AWM just crash me randomly....

Wow you are lazy. No one complains typing, how much muscle power do you waste? Sleep for one extra minute a day, and that should cover your "password typing" good.

That's true. If it's full constantly, then it will be fun because 5v5 is true gaming experience Too many is not good because if you spray, you'll get at least a kill. That's no skill, but all random, which I HATE

I don't know about you guys, but an ultimate server to me, is a 10 vs 10 on deagle5, dust, dust2, aztec or a 5 vs 5 on iceworld and ship_wreak.

I think the server is fine for what we need now. I agree, it could be better, but it's definetly good for now.

I do think we need a west coast server, just so everyone will be happy.

Just wanted to let people know that I paid for this server with my hard earned money. If you just want to complain about it and talk about lag, just stay out of this thread and the server. There are plenty of other servers out ther for you people having problems. I won't buy a west coast server, but someone else, feel free to! I haven't seen more than 1 or 2 instances of selflessness on these boards, and I now understand why!

Hey pdog, this is llamabutt from the server. don't let a few bad apples wreck it for the rest of us.

My server will be moving from New York to Texas in a day or two. I just talked to my host about that. So that should help the pings for people on the west coast that would like to play.

Awesome! Do let me try it when it's ready. If I verify it, I'll make it the Westcoast Official Neowin Server, while the other one is the Eastcoast. If this works, I'll give up my east coast admin to someone else, and take over admin for the west coast. We shall see!

I could admin both. I'm on the east coast, but I go to sleep at west-coast times, and my net connection isn't too bad.
