I've just recently switched from IE to firefox, and I have a question:

How do you change the way Firefox handles opening files?...If I click a .reg file to download it Opens it instead. And when I go to download a torrent file it just opens up a page with a bunch of gibberish..how do I change it that the files are downloaded like they are supossed to be?... I have seen the option under Options that says "Automatically perform the associated with each of the following file types" but I don't see where I can add any.

When you download a file it should ask you what you want to do with it, so if it's opening a .reg file automatically check the "Automatically perform the associated action with each of the following file types" list and see if somewhere it says:

.reg files ---- Open with whatever

Then you can either remove it or change what happens. As for the torrent, you should probably right click and say save as, then just run it in your favorite client.

I haven't found a way to do that yet. I do know what you're talking about though, and if I find out I'll post it here.
